[Report]OIST x Kyudai Joint Symposium Series 1

On February 29, 2024, Kyushu University and Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) held the OIST-Kyudai Joint Symposium Series 1.

This symposium is one of the efforts to strengthen collaboration between the two universities in a variety of fields, and this was a memorable first event.

The theme of the symposium was Bio-Inspired Wonders and Energy Innovations, and 26 participants (Kyushu University) from various research fields such as “Nature, Biology,” “Materials, Chemistry, Energy,” and “Cross-disciplinary” participated in the symposium.

The presentations were followed by a poster session and a poster session.

The symposium closed with a poster session that was followed by enthusiastic discussions, especially among the young researchers.
