Kyushu university reseachers support program
The University operates a variety of researcher support systems.
Among them is the intramural research support system, which provides research support programs to meet a wide range of research needs and supports free and vigorous research.

Research Start Program

| Objective | Program to support young researchers who have no experience in obtaining Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research by providing them with research funding support and a "Research Funding Acquisition Support Program" in an integrated manner to help them build a research track record. |

Persons who satisfy all of the following (1) to (3) (1) Assistant professors who obtained their doctoral degree less than 8 years or Post-doctoral Fellows. (2) From among principal investigator who were rejected for the KAKENHI in the relevant academic year, those who got“Rank A”(in the top 20% of all research proposals that were not selected) of disclosure of review results. (3) Researchers who are scheduled (as of the time of application) to remain at their current post for the duration of the support period. |

Researcher Network Formation Promotion Program with Candidate Universities for Strategic Partnership

| Eligible person | Among the exchange programs mainly involving young researchers from TUAT and their counterparts from Seoul National University or National Taiwan University, those that are expected to have medium- to long-term effects, such as the creation and implementation of international joint research, publication of international co-authored papers, joint application for competitive research funds, and increase in the number of dispatched/accepted international students after the completion of the program, with the aim of forming new research and education networks and expanding and developing them. Support for Women Returning from Maternity and Parental Leave
