Research Start Program

Persons who satisfy all of the following (1) to (3) (1) Assistant professors who obtained their doctoral degree less than 8 years or Post-doctoral Fellows. (2) From among principal investigator who were rejected for the KAKENHI in the relevant academic year, those who got“Rank A”(in the top 20% of all research proposals that were not selected) of disclosure of review results. (3) Researchers who are scheduled (as of the time of application) to remain at their current post for the duration of the support period. |

Support for the Employment of Research Assistants

It provides financial assistance towards hiring research assistants for researchers who are recognized as having difficulty securing their research time due to personal circumstances such as childbirth, childcare, or nursing care. The goal of this initiative is to prevent any interruptions to their research activities. |
