Overview of the Program
The ‘Employment Support Program for Young Researchers to Improve the Research Environment’ is a system designed to directly employ JSPS Special Research Fellows – PD, RPD, CPD (hereinafter referred to as “PD, etc.”), at their host research institutions. This system aims to enhance research activities and contribute to the improvement of Japan’s research capabilities by ensuring an environment where Special Research Fellows – PD, etc. can focus on their research with greater peace of mind. Our university has registered as an ‘Institution with Employment System’ in agreement with the purpose of this program. From April 1, 2025, our university will employ Special Research Fellows – PD, etc., who are hosted by our university, as ‘特別研究員(学振)‘ based on our employment regulations.
